Charter holidays are a great way to build experience, and they are great fun too, as well as a great way to build miles. Unlike a sea-school course, your own charter can be run at your own speed, and you say where and when you sail!
But most charter companies require you to have someone on board with experience. If you don't have the required experience or qualifications (normally an ICC certificate, or an RYA Day Skipper ticket), we can provide an experienced yachtsman with the right qualifications to satisfy the charter company, whilst leaving you to organise and run your charter exactly as you want to.
You get to make the decisions, sail the yacht, and organise things your way. But we're there to give you back-up, and to provide that necessary experience if things get tricky. This isn't a course - you are on holiday, and our skippers are there to help your holiday go well. They will know the great places to anchor, to moor, or even to eat out. They can deal with the hassle of mooring stern-to, or getting into that tricky marina berth.
You get as much freedom as you want to sail how and when you want. It's up to you.
