About Yachtmovers
YachtMovers is slightly different from most commercial yacht delivery companies. We are a community of yachting professionals who enjoy helping people to get the best out of sailing, and for us, profit is not the driving motive. Our skippers are well qualified, experienced yachtsmen and women of at least Yachtmaster Commercial standard with thousands of miles experience. Many are RYA Instructors, and we take special care of your yacht and sail her to the highest standards. We specialise in helping owners get the very best yacht delivery and assisted passage making we can provide. We are not an 'add on' to a sailing school.
There's no shortage of amateur yachtsmen who make a few pounds by delivering yachts. And there's no shortage of stories where things went wrong.
With Yachtmovers, you pay a fair price for a professional job. Our skippers are fully insured; we don't take on inexperienced crew, and we don't charge if we are held up by bad weather.
When you accept our quote, we will introduce you to your delivery skipper so that the delivery is a personal service. We welcome owners on board, either for assisted passage or as a passenger, and will share our expertise with you from the earliest planning to the final arrival. By arrangement, we can also provide RYA training and certification.
